Our sectors: agriculture, industry, and commerce
Blunomy helps companies across diverse sectors assess climate-related and transition risk and adapt strategies and business models for long-term success.
From factories to farms and checkout lines, climate risk, tightening policy and green-minded customers are converging faster than most balance sheets acknowledge. Companies that map these hidden exposures now can re-route capital toward low-carbon growth and lock in early-mover advantage before subsidies, standards or extreme weather rewrite the rules. Those that wait will find the transition imposed on them, abruptly and at a price.
Our offer
For manufacturers, agribusinesses, retailers and service firms we link transition ambition directly to bottom-line value.
Strategic transition responses
Identifying the connections between value creation and the transition, and integrating responses into strategy.
Scaling new value pools
Finding high strategic-fit opportunities for circular, bio-based and low-emission offers, and supporting the journey to market.
End-to-end decarbonisation
Scope 1-3 baselining, merit-order abatement, supplier engagement and investment road-maps that show when, where and how to cut emissions profitably.
Risk & adaptation
Assessment and quantification of transition risk, and translation of exposure into robust business cases for resilience investments and adaptation plans.

Case study: climate and the future of dairy
Blunomy worked with a leading global dairy and nutrition company to translate climate-risk science into actionable sourcing strategy, safeguarding future milk supply while building in-house capability to scale the approach worldwide.
The sticking point
A global food-and-beverage group depends on dairy suppliers in water-stressed regions of Spain, Mexico and the United States: exactly where rising heat and drought threaten milk yield, quality and feed supplies. To protect its core ingredient and meet climate commitments, the company needed hard numbers on physical risk, insight into local sector dynamics and a credible plan to adapt its sourcing strategy before disruptions bite.
Our response
Blunomy combined farm-level data, producer surveys and down-scaled climate models to quantify how milk output, fodder yields and water availability could shift in 2030 and 2050 under multiple scenarios. We overlaid this with socio-economic and policy analyses for each country, then convened workshops with agronomists, farmers and client teams to rank practical mitigation levers, from regenerative grazing and on-farm water actions to strategic relocation of supply.
The result was a set of farm-specific action plans, country-level sourcing recommendations and a financing outlook that turn climate exposure into an investable roadmap. We also delivered a web-based decision tool and a replicable methodology kit, equipping local buyers and strategists to run the analysis in new geographies and keep the plan live.
